Venkata Kishore

Venkata Kishore is an accomplished professional in the field of agricultural sciences, currently serving as VP and Head of Global Product Innovation & New Crops for Bayer since August 2018. With extensive experience in vegetable research and development, Venkata has held various leadership positions, including the Vice President roles for Global Head of Veg Seeds Smallholders & Sustainability and Vegetable Breeding and Testing across multiple regions. Prior to Bayer, Venkata worked at Monsanto Company where responsibilities included leading vegetable breeding strategies and serving as a Science Fellow. Additional experience includes significant roles at Syngenta Biotechnology and Nunhems, focusing on genetic technology and marker-assisted breeding. Venkata holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Breeding and Genetics from Oregon State University, an MBA in Finance from Illinois State University, and multiple degrees in Genetics and Plant Breeding from institutions in India.
