Vincent Thoen serves as the Public Affairs Head for the Benelux region at Bayer since April 2025. Prior to this role, Thoen was the Public Affairs Manager for Belgium and Luxembourg at Delhaize Belgium from February 2019 to April 2025, where responsibilities included developing corporate strategies and monitoring legislative impacts. Between January 2016 and February 2019, Thoen was a member of the Board of Directors for Agentschap Innoveren & Ondernemen, a Flemish governmental agency focused on fostering innovation. Additionally, Thoen was a Senior Advisor in Innovation and Corporate Finance at Voka-Vlaams netwerk van ondernemingen from February 2011 to February 2019, and served on the Board of Flanders DC, supporting the Flemish creative industries. Thoen holds a PhD in Applied Economics from KU Leuven and a Master's in Financial Economics from Université catholique de Louvain.
