Wei Jiang

President, China/AsiaPacific Region - Pharmaceuticals & Member of Executive Committee at Bayer

Wei Jiang is the current President of the China/AsiaPacific region for Pharmaceuticals at Bayer. Wei has also been a member of the Executive Committee at Bayer since 2019. Prior to their current positions, Jiang served as Board Member for RDPAC from 2015 to 2021 and as CEO Greater China and Regional President China/APAC for Bayer Pharma from June 2019 to October 2021. From 2015 to 2019, Jiang was a member of the Executive Committee and Regional President of China/APAC at Bayer Pharma. From 2012 to 2015, they served as Sr. Vice President of the APAC region for AstraZeneca. Jiang has also served in various other positions at AstraZeneca including Regional Marketing Director for China, Japan & APAC from 2010 to 2011, President of Taiwan Operations from 2007 to 2010, and Vice President of Strategy & Business Development from 2006 to 2007.

Wei Jiang has obtained a certificate in leadership development from both Harvard Business School and INSEAD. Wei also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Campbell University and a Master of Arts in Economics from Indiana State University.

They are on a team with Gerd Krüger - Global President of Radiology, Pharmaceuticals, Wolfram Carius - EVP, Pharmaceuticals Product Supply & Member of the Executive Leadership Team, and Reinhard Franzen - SVP. Wei Jiang reports to Stefan Oelrich, Head of Pharmaceuticals.
