Wolfram Carius

Wolfram Carius is a German business executive who currently serves as the EVP of Pharmaceuticals Product Supply & Member of the Executive Leadership Team at Bayer. Prior to joining Bayer, Carius served as the Senior Vice President Biologics and member of the group leadership team at Sanofi from January 2014 to August 2016. Wolfram also held various positions at Boehringer Ingelheim from 2009 to 2013, including Member of the Board of Managing Directors, Operations and Biopharma, Corporate SVP Pharmaceuticals Production, and SVP Biopharmaceuticals. From 1995 to 1998, Carius served as the VP Technology and Production at Boehringer Ingelheim do Brazil. Wolfram began their career at Dr.K.Thomae in 1987, where they held various positions over the next seven years, including Group leader non solid dosage forms and Plant Manager Assistant.

Wolfram Carius completed their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) at Saarland University and went on to become a Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Biberach.
