Currently serving as the Science Fellow and Transformation Discovery Lead at Bayer Crop Science, Yurong specializes in high throughput trait delivery system discovery and development. Yurong's extensive background includes roles as a Research Scientist and Project Lead at various organizations such as United Grain Growers, Agricore United, Viterra, and Monsanto Company, as well as a postdoctoral position at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Yurong earned a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding from the University of Guelph.
