Thomas Biedermann has a diverse work experience, primarily with Bayerische Landesbank. Thomas started their career as an Apprentice in 1993 and worked as a Junior Analyst from 1996 to 1997. Thomas then joined the Operations Team for Trading Products as a Project Specialist, where they were involved in business analysis, data quality, and data management. During this time, they also played a key role in implementing the bank's first centralized data warehouse and collaborated with international branches for data transmission. In 2004, they became an Assistant Treasurer, responsible for data migration and user support during the rollout of a new trading platform. Thomas then progressed to the role of Second Vice President in 2006 and Vice President in 2008, working on business analysis, project management, application support, data management, and liaison with the Head Office in Germany. Finally, they served as the Head of IT, leading a team of six specialists and overseeing various IT functions such as project portfolio management, risk and compliance management, help desk services, and overall IT service delivery. Thomas was also a member of the local Management Committee.
Thomas Biedermann holds an MBA in International Business from Kaplan University, which they completed between 2007-2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie between 1997-2001. Thomas also has additional certifications, including IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Business Analyst, and Project+.
