Susanne Merkle

Susanne Merkle is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in broadcasting and communications. Currently, Susanne serves as the Leiterin of Treffpunkt - Das Labor für Vernetzung und Transformation at Bayerischer Rundfunk, a role held since July 2004, also previously leading Treffpunkt - Das Labor für Innovation und Vernetzung and serving as Stellvertretende Leiterin Interne Kommunikation. Prior to this, Susanne worked as a freelance journalist and moderator for radio and TV with ARD-Anstalten and Arte from May 1997 to July 2004. Susanne Merkle holds a Magister degree in Internationale Politik, Theater- und Kommunikationswissenschaft from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, and studied at The University of Texas at Austin.
