Henning Berthold

Henning Berthold is a seasoned professional in the creative industries, currently serving as Deputy Head of Division Creative Industries at Bayern Innovativ GmbH since March 2019. In addition, Henning holds positions as Team Manager for both Creative Industries and Technology, and as Project Manager at the same company. Active in the European Federation for Creative Economy (Creative FED) since 2020, Henning is also a Board Member. Furthermore, Henning is an Industry Expert at the Bavarian Centre for the Cultural and Creative Industries and was an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of St Andrews from 2017 to 2020. Previous experience includes serving as Transfer Manager for Start-up and Growth at The Federal Government’s Centre of Excellence for the Cultural and Creative Industries and working as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant and Research Assistant at the Institute for Capitalising on Creativity, School of Management, University of St Andrews. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of St Andrews and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School.
