Jacobo Salomón

Jacobo Salomón has over 8 years of professional experience. Jacobo started their career in 2013 as a Sales and New Projects Engineer at HT-MX Heat Treatment, where they were responsible for sales, new projects, and the design of heat treatment processes. In 2014, they became a Teacher at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they taught basic French and a Multicultural Topics class, and was responsible for preparing students for trips to France and Montreal, Quebec. In 2018, Jacobo joined Citibanamex as a Data Scientist, and was later promoted to Senior Data Scientist, where they developed and deployed statistical and Machine Learning models, and documented the modeling process. In 2021, they joined Edenred as a Senior Data Scientist, where they were part of the Global Technology Data Science & Analytics team, and developed Data Science projects for several countries and business lines. Currently, Jacobo is the Head of Data Science at Bayonet.

Jacobo Salomón completed a Master of Science in Statistics at ETH Zürich from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an Industrial and Systems Engineering degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 2008 and 2013. In 2011, they also completed a semester abroad at Alanus Hochschule für Kunst und Gesellschaft. Additionally, they hold a Green Belt certification from Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) Campus Chihuahua.
