Salu R.

Salu R. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career at Sutter Health - Palo Alto Medical Foundation in 2007 as a Phlebotomist, where they performed various blood drawing procedures and improved workflow through the development of templates and spreadsheets. In 2013, Salu R. joined the Fast Response School of Health Care Education as a Lead Instructor, providing instruction and contributing to program planning and development. They then joined IntegraMed Fertility in 2007 as an Embryologist & Phlebotomist, where they worked until 2015, and later joined the University of California, San Francisco as a Senior Embryologist in November 2015. Finally, in February 2017, Salu R. became the Chief Executive Officer at BayPLS.

Salu R. completed an Associate in Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities at Las Positas College from 2008 to 2010. They then pursued a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Biotechnology at the University of California, Davis from 2009 to 2011. Salu R. furthered their education by obtaining a Masters of Sciences with Honors in Clinical Embryology and Andrology from the University of Leeds from 2014 to 2016.

In terms of certifications, Salu R. became an Andrology Laboratory Scientist and an Embryology Laboratory Scientist through the AAB Board of Registry (ABOR) in January 2017. They also obtained the Technical Supervisor (TS) in Embryology and Andrology certification from the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) in the same year. Earlier in their career, Salu R. obtained the Certified Phlebotomist Technician I certification from the California Department of Public Health in July 2006.
