Gavin O’Mahony

Gavin is a Chartered Accountant who joined Bayport SA in 2010, after completing his articles. He previously held the positions of Head of Financial Modelling (which included profitability analysis and provision modelling), Head of Cellular Portfolio, Head of Credit Risk and also spent three years as Chief Risk Officer, where he managed our Credit Risk, Enterprise Risk, Credit Underwriting, Collections, Forensics and Information Management functions. In March 2019, Gavin was promoted to Deputy CEO where, in addition to supporting the CEO in the overall leadership of the company, he currently oversees the Credit Risk, Credit Underwriting, Collections, Forensics, Information Management, Finance, IT and Digital functions.
