BAYS was organized and chartered as a Florida Not-For-Profit Corporation on April 19, 1982. The agency, founded by William F. Bowman, was developed with the objective of improving the quality of life and increasing the potential of Florida’s youth. Since then, BAYS has provided high quality and professional youth and family services throughout the State of Florida. Over a 35+ year history BAYS has grown into a multi-faceted organization with 14 office locations across the state of Florida and employs over 100 staff members.

The Finance and Operations team at BAYS is responsible for managing the organization's financial health and operational efficiency. This team oversees budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance while ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support BAYS' mission of improving the lives of Florida's youth. They also implement and optimize operational processes to enhance service delivery and organizational sustainability across all office locations.
