Bin ZHANG

Bin Zhang has a diverse work experience in the field of ASIC and silicon engineering. Bin has worked as an ASIC/Silicon Engineering Manager at BaySand Inc. where they were involved in system design and planning of ASIC/SOC chips for portable devices and IoT. At AppliedMicro, they served as a Sr. Principal Design Engineer, specializing in 16nm SOC physical design and verification. Bin also has experience as a Project Design Manager at Synapse Design Automation Inc., where they worked on various ASIC design projects for different companies, including SigmaDesigns, ST-Ericsson, and Analog Devices Inc. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior ASIC Design Engineer at LSI Corporation, handling complex ASIC design projects for several clients. Bin also worked as a Senior ASIC Design Engineer at STMicroelectronics, focusing on digital radio/satellite product R&D. Bin's early work experience includes being an ASIC Design Engineer at the National IC Design Center, where they were involved in the research and design of a 32-bit X86 embedded CPU.

Bin Zhang obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Technology from Northwestern Polytechnical University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Technology, specifically in the field of Computer System Architecture, from the same university. Bin Zhang completed their Master's Degree from 2003 to 2006.
