Arif Nawaz is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project and operations management within the chemical and petrochemical industries. Currently serving as a Staff Project Engineer at BAYSTAR™ / Bayport Polymers LLC since January 2018, Arif Nawaz oversees profitability improvement initiatives, capital budgeting, and leads high-yield capital projects while ensuring process safety and compliance. Previously, Arif Nawaz held various senior engineering roles at Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA, Inc. and MEMC Electronic Materials, demonstrating expertise in process engineering and safety management. Academic foundations were established with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
