Prior experience at POOLCORP from June 2013 to July 2018 included roles as zone manager and sales center manager, where responsibility encompassed managing a medium-sized branch, acting as a sales representative for large customers, and overseeing daily operations. David also played a pivotal role in an acquisition, successfully converting a new computer system and training multiple staff members. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Clarkson University, completed in 2013.

Baystate Pool Supplies and APC
Baystate Pool Supplies is a fourth-generation, family-owned wholesale distributor of swimming pool and spa products. Our Founder, Charles Arakelian, came to this country from Armenia where he settled in Philadelphia and eventually moved to Boston. There he learned to manufacture bleach for laundries and started United Bleach Manufacturing. In time his two sons, Arthur and Paul, came into the business. In 1965, while working for his father’s company, Paul saw an opportunity in the flourishing pool and spa industry. Later that year, he formed Baystate Chemical and Pool Supplies. Arthur joined him shortly thereafter, leaving his job as a school teacher. Over time Chuck, John, and David, their boys, joined Baystate Pool Supplies. Baystate eventually consolidated the business into wholesale distribution and today Baystate proudly operates twelve distribution outlets from Virginia to New Hampshire and also servicing Virginia Beach to Buffalo, NY daily. Today the core values set forth by Chuck, John and David’s fathers through hard work and devoted customer service resonates throughout each of our 250 employees.
