Elaine M. McCown

Elaine M. McCown is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as the Controller for Baytex Energy USA, Inc. since May 2021, Elaine previously held the position of Assistant Controller at Ranger Oil Corporation. Prior to this, Elaine worked as an Assistant Controller at ChampionX and as a Controller for Shell Midstream Partners, where responsibilities included managing accounting policy. Additional experience includes positions at ION Geophysical, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as a Senior Manager, and earlier roles in accounting and auditing. Elaine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Houston-Downtown.
