Mark Yamasaki

Mark Yamasaki is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Director of Production at Baytex Energy Corp. since June 2023. Previously, Yamasaki held the position of Production Manager at Ranger Oil Corporation and served as VP Subsurface at Metik Energy, LLC. From 2012 to 2019, Yamasaki worked at BHP Billiton in various roles, including Production Engineering Manager and Senior Production Engineer, focusing on the Eagle Ford and Permian regions. Yamasaki also co-founded Extenergy LP, where responsibilities included management of engineering operations and business functions. Prior to that, Yamasaki served as Director of Engineering at Performance Sciences Inc. and held a Production Engineer role at Amoco Production Company. Mark Yamasaki earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
