Matt Tymchuk

Matt Tymchuk is an experienced petroleum engineer currently serving as a Reserves Coordinator at Baytex Energy Corp. since April 2024. Prior experience includes a notable tenure at Sproule from August 2011 to March 2024, where Matt held multiple roles, advancing from Petroleum Engineer and Associate to Team Lead in Engineering. Previous positions also include Petroleum Engineer at DeGolyer and MacNaughton and Field Engineer at Weatherford. Matt Tymchuk’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Red Deer Polytechnic.
