Richard Bland

Richard Bland is a seasoned Completions Engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently employed at Baytex Energy Corp. since September 2018, Richard previously held similar roles at Raging River Exploration Inc. and Canyon Technical Services Ltd., where expertise included designing hydraulic fracturing and completion programs, providing engineering support during operations, and maintaining client relationships. Earlier in their career, Richard gained valuable experience as a Co-op Mechanical Design Engineer at Halliburton and as a Co-op Maintenance Engineer at Teck Resources Limited, focusing on design and project management. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, obtained in 2011.
