Sean Mahaffey

Sean Mahaffey is a seasoned professional in health, safety, and environmental management, currently serving as the Director of Health, Safety & Environment at Baytex Energy Corp. since February 2023. Prior experience includes over a decade at Ranger Oil Corporation, where Sean held multiple roles including Manager of Health, Safety and Environment, as well as Senior and Environmental and Safety Specialist. Previous positions also include Safety and Environmental Specialist at Miller Welding and Machine Co., and Environmental Scientist at GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Penn State University and an Associate of Science in Parks and Recreational Management from Butler County Community College.
