Susan Watson

Susan Watson has extensive experience in public health, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Programs and Community Engagement at the Public Health Institute since March 2008. In addition to leading various initiatives related to racial equity, diversity, and inclusion, Susan has held multiple directorial and managerial roles within the organization. Since June 2000, Susan has also been actively involved with the Bayview Hunters Point Foundation, holding positions such as President of the Board of Directors and Interim Executive Director. Prior experience includes work at UCSF from 1997 to 2008 in program evaluation and health liaison roles. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Stanford University and a Master of Public Health in Public Health Policy and Administration from the University of Michigan, School of Public Health.
