Abigail Schuman

Abigail Schuman has gained significant work experience in various roles throughout their career. Starting in 2006, they worked as an Elementary Teacher at Alexander Street Elementary School in Newark, NJ as part of the Teach for America Corps. During their tenure, they focused on narrowing the education gap and achieved outstanding results with 97% of their students passing the state exam.

In 2008, Abigail joined Bazaarvoice where they held multiple positions. Abigail started as a Training Analyst, where they designed and executed a training program to efficiently transition the interview and testing process online. Abigail then moved on to become the Content Services Team Lead, taking on responsibilities such as hiring, training, conducting payroll, and maintaining performance of a remote workforce of 250 people while maintaining low attrition rates. Abigail later became the Senior Manager of Content Moderation, overseeing the moderation and authenticity of content, and eventually took on the role of Senior Manager of Moderation and Authenticity.

In 2017, Abigail was promoted to Director of Workforce Ops, where they collaborated with internal Client Services business partners to enhance the efficiency of services provided to clients. Their specialties included product management of an internally built content management system.

Most recently, Abigail served as the Senior Director of Content Management Services at Bazaarvoice, a position they held since June 2019. Their responsibilities in this role include maximizing efficiencies within the services offered to clients.

Throughout their career, Abigail has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, focus on improving processes and tools, and a dedication to achieving outstanding results.

Abigail Schuman obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 2002 to 2006.
