Akilah Young

Akilah Young has a diverse work experience. Akilah currently serves as a Senior Account Manager at Bazaarvoice since November 2020. Before that, they worked at Macy's where they held two roles. First, they were a Digital Merchant from July 2016 to March 2020. In this role, they managed the online luggage assortment, analyzed customer shopping behavior, and developed strategies for digital campaigns. Additionally, they served as an Omni Assistant Financial Planner from March 2015 to July 2016, where they collaborated with various teams to maximize sales, managed inventory levels, and utilized analytical tools to review plans. Prior to their time at Macy's, Akilah worked as a Teacher at the NYC Department of Education from March 2013 to February 2015. In this role, they developed and implemented lesson plans, tracked student performance, and communicated with parents and administration.

Akilah Young attended Fox School of Business at Temple University from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus in Marketing.
