Darrin Lillian

Darrin Lillian has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Darrin currently serves as an Operations Program Manager at Bazaarvoice since June 2022. Prior to this, Darrin worked at BigCommerce for three years, starting as an Implementation Project Manager from May 2019 to May 2020, and later transitioning to an Operational Readiness Specialist from May 2020 to June 2022.

Before joining BigCommerce, Darrin held multiple positions at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. From January 2017 to May 2019, they worked as a Product Owner, responsible for Agile Product Ownership for TIERS and the State Benefits Portal. As a Hearing Officer from February 2015 to January 2017, Darrin conducted fair hearings for state-issued benefits. Darrin also worked as a Disability Specialist from February 2013 to January 2015.

Additionally, Darrin has experience as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor at Infinite Jiu Jitsu from May 2005 to May 2019. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Disability Specialist at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission from November 2005 to January 2011.

Darrin began their professional journey as an Operations Manager at Meridian Internet Services Inc. from May 2002 to August 2005. In this role, they handled day-to-day operations for the company's internet services, including database products, search engine optimization, and a dating/social networking website. Darrin was also responsible for creating "expert" websites to drive traffic to the parent company and performed other daily tasks and special assignments.

Darrin Lillian earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2019, as well as the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in January 2019.
