Ryan McCollum

Ryan McCollum has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Ryan is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Bazaarvoice, a role they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Engineering Manager at Bazaarvoice from May 2021 to October 2022. Before joining Bazaarvoice, they worked as a Product Architect at Global Payments Integrated from April 2019 to April 2021. Ryan also has experience as a Co-Founder and Organizer of ProductTank Belfast from January 2016 to December 2020. Ryan served as a Design Thinking Coach at Catalyst Inc HQ from October 2017 to April 2019, mentoring early-stage teams on the application of human-centered design. Ryan worked as a Product Partner at Big Motive from January 2018 to March 2019. Ryan started their career at PwC UK (Emerging & Digital Technologies) as a Product Lead from January 2016 to January 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Product Manager at Bitnet Technologies Ltd. from May 2014 to December 2015. Ryan began their career as a Staff Software Engineer at Visa from December 2008 to April 2014 and also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Lagan Technologies from June 2004 to November 2008. Overall, Ryan has extensive experience in software engineering, product management, and design thinking.

Ryan McCollum attended Ulster University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (with Honors) in Computing Science.
