Mihai Cristalov

Mihai Cristalov, CISA, CISSP, is an experienced Cyber Security Consultant currently employed at Fondaction since May 2023. Mihai has held various significant roles, including Lead Consultant for IT Risk Management at Desjardins from June 2018 to April 2023 and Lead Analyst for IT Security at Intact from October 2017 to May 2018. Prior experience includes positions such as Senior Analyst for IT Internal Control at BDC, Manager of IT Security Threat & Operational Risk Management at Air Canada, and Senior IT Security Consultant at Vidéotron. Mihai possesses substantial expertise in areas such as vulnerability management, operational control, IT risk management, and security governance, and has worked with multiple technologies including McAfee, Cisco, CyberArk, and IBM tools. Mihai holds an advanced degree in Information Security from Université de Sherbrooke and a Master’s in Administration from HEC Montréal, as well as certifications in information systems auditing and security.
