Dermot P Dwyer

Dermot P Dwyer has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, with a current position as an On-site Technical Representative at BBAM since June 2021, focusing on aircraft redelivery and repossession processes. Dwyer has been providing independent Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Level III services as a Responsible NDT Level III Specialist Independent Aerospace Consultant with Blackthorn Aero Consultants since January 2000. Previous roles include Level III consultant at TWI NDT Consultancy Services, and various positions at TWI, including Lecturer and Examiner. Dwyer has also served as Technical Manager Responsible Level 3 at N D Technologies and CPS, and Associate Vice President Powerplant at Acumen Aviation. An accomplished NDT specialist, Dwyer’s career includes significant contributions at Lufthansa Technik Airmotive Ireland from 1980 to 2014, complemented by degrees in Non Destructive Testing, Technical Aircraft Management, and Training and Performance Management.
