Brent Sanders is an Assistant General Counsel with Microsoft Corporation where he leads Microsoft’s advertising and consumer marketing legal teams. Brent and his team serve as trusted advisors to advertising and marketing professionals at Microsoft and are responsible for the legal management of Microsoft’s global advertising and marketing campaigns and Microsoft’s agency relationships. Brent and his legal team provide a corporate-wide review of Microsoft’s advertising, product packaging, PR, contests, sweepstakes, and promotions. Prior to his current role, Brent’s team also oversaw the Worldwide Retail Sales & Marketing channel responsible for the distribution, marketing, and promotion of Microsoft’s consumer software and hardware products.
Brent is actively involved in self-regulatory and new legislative developments that impact the advertising community. He is the Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce Marketing and Advertising Commission, is a member of the Association of National Advertisers Legal Affairs Committee, and the Children’s Advertising Review Unit Supporters Council of BBB National Programs.
