Jennifer Thornton

Jennifer Thornton has extensive experience in the logistics industry. Jennifer most recently served as Vice President at BBC Chartering since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Gateway Logistics Group for 11 years, where they held the position of Senior Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for establishing the company's structure and leading execution for major heavy-lift cargo and project operations. Before joining Gateway Logistics Group, Jennifer worked at BDP International as a Director, where they established and launched the company's first Project Logistics Division. Jennifer also worked at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics for several years, starting as a Corporate Vice President and eventually expanding the company's market presence and managing various teams.

Jennifer Thornton has a Bachelor's degree in Maritime from Texas A&M University. Jennifer has also obtained additional certifications in Shipbroking and Vessel Charter Operations from ASBA (Association of Ship Brokers and Agents (USA), Inc.) in 2017, as well as OSHA 30 Hour Safety Training from OSHA Safety Training Institute in 2017.
