Ben Murphy

Ben Murphy is a seasoned tax professional with extensive expertise in employment and expatriate tax. Currently serving as Head of Employment Tax at BBC since October 2022, Ben also holds the title of Interim Employment Tax Finance Business Partner. Previous roles include Employment Tax at Checkout.com from June 2021 to September 2022, and Employment and Expat Tax Manager at Financial Times from October 2016 to May 2021. Ben's career began at EY as an Expatriate Tax Advisor and includes experience at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Expatriate Tax Specialist, as well as a Tax Junior at Ormerod Rutter Chartered Accountants. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology from The University of Birmingham and A Levels in Psychology, History, and Law from Worcester Sixth Form College.
