Calum Wiggins

Calum Wiggins is an experienced product management professional currently serving as Interim Head of Product for Discoverability at BBC since September 2021, focusing on enhancing recommendations, search, and marketing capabilities across various BBC platforms. Previously, Calum held roles including Group Product Manager for Recommendations and Senior Product Manager for the Design System & Web Framework at BBC, where innovative AI/ML content recommendations were developed. Prior experience includes a Product Manager position at Moonpig, leading the launch of a card and gift customization tool, and transforming support for funding seekers at Wellcome Trust. Early career experience includes a role as Scrum Master and completion of a Graduate Development Programme at AstraZeneca. Calum holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester.
