Jennifer Wells

Jennifer Wells is an accomplished legal and academic professional with extensive experience in research, teaching, and documentary contributions. Wells served as a Research Assistant at the University of California and the University of Virginia, followed by a PhD candidacy and teaching assistantship at Brown University. Currently serving as an Attorney at the Montana Department of Natural Resources & Conservation, Wells also held positions such as Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Southern California and Assistant Professor at The George Washington University. Additional roles include a Legal Intern at Earthjustice and a Law Clerk at the United States Federal District Courts. As a documented researcher and contributor for the BBC and an On Air Contributor & Consultant for National Geographic, Wells provides expertise in legal and historical contexts. Education includes a PhD in History from Brown University, a JD in International and Environmental Law from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and a BA in History from the University of Colorado Boulder.
