Julie Shepherd

Julie Shepherd is a seasoned production leader with extensive experience in the BBC, currently serving as the Senior Head of Production for BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music. They previously held various roles at BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, including acting Head of Production and Senior Head of Content Production, where they managed teams and spearheaded innovative projects. Julie also has experience producing content for significant initiatives like Comic Relief and BBC Music Live. They earned a BSc Hons in Media Technology & Production from the University of Bradford and an HND in Media Production from Perth College of Music and Media.
