Mark Grinnell has an extensive career in broadcasting and media, currently serving as Executive Lead for BBC Nations since 2009, with previous interim roles including Senior Head of Content Production for BBC South & BBC South East and Head of BBC West and BBC South West. Prior to joining the BBC, Grinnell held the position of Group Head of News at Global and Deputy Group News Editor at GCap Media and GWR Radio Limited. Early career experience includes roles at ITN as Output Editor and as a Senior Broadcaster at The AA. Grinnell's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Bedfordshire and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business and Strategic Leadership from Cranfield School of Management, expected to be completed in 2024.
