Paul Oldfield

Paul Oldfield is currently serving as the Chief of Staff at the BBC. Their previous roles include extensive experience at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, where they were involved in key positions such as Secretary to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Board and Director of Sport, Gambling, and Commonwealth Games. Oldfield also held the position of Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister at the Cabinet Office. They began their career at the UK Home Office, focusing on policing policy. Oldfield earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Nottingham.
