Paul Pledger

Paul Pledger is a seasoned Creative Director at BBC since January 2012, currently focusing on BBC World Service Television since February 2021, where responsibilities include guiding creative standards and managing significant programming initiatives. Pledger played a key role in launching "Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg" and directed major programs during pivotal events such as Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior experiences include directing programming for the World 2020 Project and the Victoria Derbyshire show, as well as serving as a Studio Director for Foxtel during the London 2012 Olympics. Earlier roles include directing and vision switching for prominent Australian networks, contributing to various news and entertainment shows. Pledger completed education at RMIT University from 2003 to 2005.
