Sebastian Ward

Sebastian Ward is a Research and Development Engineer at BBC since September 2019, where responsibilities include building software models of the UK consumer media landscape and developing optimisation algorithms using Python. Additionally, Sebastian serves as a member of the BBC Next Generation Committee and previously held the position of Graduate Research and Development Engineer. Prior experience includes working as a Technology Consultant at IBM from September 2017 to April 2018, focusing on large-scale automated cloud computing deployments and project management of infrastructure deployment. Sebastian holds a Master's degree in Physics from The University of Manchester, earned between 2012 and 2017.
