Alex Somoza

Alex Somoza has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Photography Intern with the Houston Astros in 2012. In 2015, they worked as a Peer Teacher at the College of Charleston and later joined Career Placements, Inc. as an Administrative Assistant from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, Alex interned at The PR Boutique - Texas. In 2018, they had two Art Director Internships at BBDO Atlanta and Chemistry. Alex then joined BBDO Atlanta in 2019 as a Junior Art Director, and over time, progressed to the role of Art Director. Currently, Alex holds the position of Senior Art Director at BBDO Atlanta.

Alex Somoza started their education journey in 2011 at the College of Charleston, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish. Alex remained at the college until 2015, completing their undergraduate studies. In 2017, Alex enrolled at Miami Ad School (M.AD School) to focus on their passion for Art Direction. Alex completed their studies in Art Direction in 2018 at Miami Ad School and decided to further enhance their skills by attending the Miami Ad School Atlanta @ Portfolio Center in 2018, where they specialized in the same field.
