Melody Lindqvist has a diverse range of work experience. Melody is currently working as a Strategy Director at BBDO Atlanta since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant from February 2013 to March 2023, where they served as a Brand & Marketing Manager. In this role, they developed and implemented various strategic initiatives, including brand strategies, marketing strategies, communication strategies, digital strategies, product strategies, content strategies, growth strategies, and innovation strategies. Melody also monitored trends to identify growth opportunities for startups and mid-sized businesses.
Before their consulting role, Melody worked as a Creative Services Manager at Eastman Chemical Company – Global Marketing Communications from May 2012 to February 2013. Here, they were responsible for global brand development and creative strategy for a $9.5 billion specialty chemical company. Melody managed an in-house creative team and collaborated with external agencies.
Prior to their time at Eastman Chemical Company, Melody worked as a Creative Brand Manager at Eat It and Like It from February 2011 to May 2012. This Emmy-nominated series focused on food and culture travelogue, showcasing the best foodie finds in the South. Melody played a key role in entertaining and connecting viewers through TV broadcasts and unscripted content.
Before their work at Eat It and Like It, Melody was the Creative Director at QISoft Limited from May 2009 to December 2010. In this global marketing and creative leadership role, they led the rebranding and repositioning of the software development company. Melody developed brand marketing initiatives to effectively reach customers and achieve company objectives.
Lastly, Melody worked as an Art Director at Clark Creative Communications from February 2007 to April 2009. In this role, they led high-profile accounts, focusing on brand development, advertising campaigns, packaging design, integrated marketing, and websites. Melody also played a part in business development and managed client and vendor relationships.
Melody Lindqvist attended Dobyns-Bennett High School from 1995 to 1999, where they received a diploma. Following high school, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Advertising & Marketing at The University of Alabama from 1999 to 2003. After completing their undergraduate studies, Melody then went on to obtain a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where they attended from 2003 to 2008.
