Dimosthenis Giannakou

Dimosthenis Giannakou has over 16 years of work experience in the engineering and maintenance field. Dimosthenis is currently serving as the Chief Engineer at Prime Property Group since May 2022. Previously, they held the position of Chief Engineer and Head of Maintenance and Pool Departments at Blue Orange Property Management from June 2012. Before that, they worked as an Electrical & Plumbing Technician at Specialist Maintenance Contractor Joint Venture (SMC JV) in Nicosia, Cyprus from June to November 2011. Dimosthenis also served as an Assistant Mechanical Engineer at Futuro Electrical & Mechanical in 2010, and as an Assistant Mechanical & Electrical Engineer at Maika Electrical in 2009. In 2006, they started their career as an Assistant in Plumbing & Electrical Services at Specialist Maintenance Contractor Joint Venture (SMC JV) in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Dimosthenis Giannakou obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cyprus University of Technology, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Dimosthenis then pursued a Master's Degree in Energy Resources Management at the same university from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also have several certifications including Emergency First Aid at Work issued by EMP Medic First Aid Course, Auditor of Heating Boiler Systems from the European Research Programme "MOVIDA", Auditor of Air Conditioning Facilities from the European Research Programme "MOVIDA", Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2008 - Quality Management Systems, Certified Internal Auditor for OHSAS 18001:2007 - Occupational Health and Safety, and Certified Pool & Spa Operator issued by the National Swimming Pool Foundation.
