A principal of BBK Worldwide, Rob Laurens has been with the company for more than 20 years, contributing not only to the success of many campaigns but also to furthering the industry’s understanding and value of both patient recruitment and patient centricity. To that end, his tenure includes spearheading the now industry-wide standard of referring to study participants as patients rather than subjects. With an expansive background in creative direction, strategy and copywriting, as well as sponsor consultation, Rob currently directs BBK’s internal professional development commitment, ensuring that the company remains an innovative, employee-centric place to work. Rob continues to present periodically at both industry conferences and investigator meetings, and was selected in 2007 by PharmaVOICE as one of the 100 most inspiring people in the life sciences industry.
