Elizabeth Rosenberger Thome

Elizabeth Rosenberger Thome is an experienced educator and expedition leader with a strong background in science and conservation. Currently serving as a Science Teacher and Interdisciplinary Facilitator at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School since August 2019, Elizabeth also leads expeditions for National Geographic Student Expeditions. Previously, as Program Manager for Reach the World, Elizabeth managed virtual exchange experiences for classrooms during the Weddell Sea Expedition in Antarctica. Other roles include Conservation Educator at Central Park Zoo, Science Teacher at Avenues: The World School, and various coaching positions. Elizabeth holds a Master of Science in Biology and Conservation Life Sciences from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Studio Art from Colorado College.
