Mark Henneberger

COO at Bbot

Mark Henneberger is the current COO at Bbot and has been with the company since March 2021. Prior to Bbot, Henneberger was with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for 17 years, where they most recently served as Director of Instrumentation, Control, & Electrical. In this role, Henneberger was responsible for establishing and executing the vision for electronic systems in nuclear propulsion plants in U.S. Navy ships, as well as advancing the state-of-the-art in electrical generation, distribution, and propulsion systems. Mark also developed a first-of-a-kind network-based machinery control system, and directed the installation of reactor instrumentation and control systems that set the standard for cost-conscious obsolescence management of electronic systems. Henneberger has also served as the Navy’s most experienced Nuclear Submarine Sea Trials Director.

Mark Henneberger earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mark also holds a Graduate Certificate in Electric Power Systems from the Naval Postgraduate School. In addition, they have a certification from Coursera in Deep Learning Specialization.
