Joel Barmettler

Joel Barmettler is a Senior Artificial Intelligence Consultant at bbv Software Services Corp since September 2023. Previously, Joel founded and served as CTO of PolygonSoftware from April 2019 to August 2023, where significant growth and digital transformation initiatives were achieved. Joel has experience as Lead Data Scientist at coinpaper.io, focusing on automated data pipelines for cryptocurrency analysis, and as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer intern at Besi Netherlands B.V., enhancing a vision system with deep learning. Earlier roles include Web Developer at Tracktics GmbH and 3D Printing Engineer at My3dWorld GmbH. Joel holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Zurich in Artificial Intelligence and Software Systems & Neuroinformatics, respectively.
