Belen Blanco

Belen Blanco, CFA, has significant experience in asset management and finance, currently serving as Responsable de BBVA Asset Management Europa and Head of Quality Funds at BBVA Asset Management in España since February 2012. In this role, Belen oversees the selection of third-party funds and ETFs for the BBVA Group, managing three key units: analysis and selection, due diligence, and Funds Solutions. Prior to this, Belen held various leadership positions at BBVA Asset Management, including Head of Fixed Income and Head of Credit, where responsibilities involved managing substantial portfolios and defining global credit strategies. Belen's early career includes serving as Head of Risk Management at BBVA Private Banking and an internship in international audit for the Treasury and Capital Markets at BBV. Belen holds several degrees, including a Bachelor of Business Administration and a JD Degree in Law from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, a Master of Public Administration from the College of Europe, and an Executive Master of Quantitative Finance from Afi Escuela, complemented by an executive management program at IESE Business School.
