Jose Nicolas Gomez Vallejo

Jose Nicolas Gomez Vallejo currently serves as the Head of Global Markets in Colombia at BBVA since May 2023. Prior to this, Jose held the position of Director of Global Internal Networks at BBVA, overseeing the company’s Corporate and Commercial Banking Trading Desk from June 2018 to December 2023. Jose has extensive experience in corporate banking, having worked for Banco de Occidente from July 2007 to June 2018, where roles included Director of Corporate, Institutional and Government Banking, Trader for Derivatives, and Front Office Treasury Analyst. Jose holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, earned between 2002 and 2007.
