David Cervantes Arenillas is a Senior Economist at BBVA Research since May 2019 and a Professor at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México since January 2002, specializing in Statistics, Econometrics, and Impact Evaluation. Previously, David held various positions at BBVA Bancomer, including Director of Evaluation and Senior Economist, and worked as a consultant in economics. David has served as a professor at Universidad Anáhuac México and held the position of Subdirector of factors associated at the Instituto Nacional de Evaluación para la Educación. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Economics from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and advanced courses from the Barcelona School of Economics, along with a Master's in Demography from El Colegio de México.
