Alberto Aguilera

Alberto Aguilera currently serves as the Global Mobile App Senior Director and Spain and Turkey Digital Sales Country Lead at BBVA since June 2016. In addition, Alberto holds the position of Digital Marketing Professor at IE Business School, contributing to the Fintech Executive Master program since June 2019. Prior experience includes roles as a Digital Marketing Professor at IEB from September 2016 to June 2019, and various positions at Visa from March 2013 to June 2016, including Digital Product and Market Development for Southern Europe and Head of Go-To-Market. Alberto also worked at PayPal from July 2007 to March 2013 in multiple capacities such as Head of Consumer Acquisition for CEMEA and Head of B2B Marketing for Spain & Portugal. Prior to that, Alberto founded and served as CEO of Internet Business Lab from July 2001 to July 2007. Alberto's educational background includes degrees from The Wharton School, Universidad Pontificia Comillas, ICADE Business School, and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
