Alejandro Cuadrado is a seasoned financial strategist with extensive experience in Latin America and emerging markets. Currently serving as the EM/Latin America Strategist and Global Head FX at BBVA since January 2012, Alejandro has been recognized as the Best Latin America FX Forecaster by the Starmine Award for four out of the last five years and ranked among the top three Latin American forecasters by Bloomberg since 2016. Previous roles include Chief Latin America Economist and Strategist at Societe Generale, Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Merrill Lynch focusing on Latin America Economics, and a Research Assistant at Standard & Poor's. Alejandro holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
