Ana Rubio has extensive experience in the field of financial regulation, currently serving as the Head of Financial Regulation at BBVA since April 2005, where previous roles included Lead Economist of Regulation and Head Economist within the Financial System Unit. Prior to joining BBVA, Ana worked as a Consultant at Mercer Oliver Wyman from September 2002 to April 2005 and as an Analyst at Arthur Andersen Corporate Finance from September 1999 to August 2000. Ana holds a Master's degree in Economics from Cemfi (2000-2002) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1996-2000), complemented by additional studies at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. from 1997 to 2007.
